My lifetime interest in the way the mind works and how we relate to one another and ourselves led me to this work. I am fascinated by the processes of discovering and rediscovering the unknown parts of oneself. In order to continue to learn and grow in this field, I enjoy taking extension courses and attending conferences.
I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish from University of California, Davis and my masters in Social Work from University of California, Los Angeles. I have been working with kids, adolescents, adults, and families--from all walks of life--since 2005 and became licensed to practice privately in 2008.
